Our Story

Over 15 years connecting adventurers with the magic of the Ecuadorian Amazon

How It All Began

Río Delfín Lodge was born in 2008 from the dream of Jacob Tangoy, a passionate local naturalist who wanted to share the incredible biodiversity of his Amazon home with the world.

What began as informal expeditions for friends became an internationally recognized operation, always maintaining the personal touch and authenticity that characterizes us.

Today, we remain a family business that takes pride in offering intimate and authentic experiences, working hand in hand with local communities to preserve this natural paradise.
